Role Overview

Tripod Global is seeking a HSE Officer (Saudi National) to join our team in Al Kharj, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is essential for ensuring a safe, compliant, and efficient working environment across our manufacturing and site operations. The successful candidate will support the company's commitment to continuous improvement and adherence to international HSE standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct daily HSE inspections across production, warehouse, painting, storage, and dispatch areas.
  • Perform Risk Assessments, HIRA, and Job Safety Analyses (JSA) before work activities.
  • Ensure Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) compliance, machine guarding, and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) implementation.
  • Monitor dust extraction systems, chemical storage, paint booths, and housekeeping standards.
  • Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, then implement corrective actions.
  • Prepare daily inspection reports, weekly site reports, monthly HSE reports, accident investigation reports, and ISO audit reports.
  • Maintain comprehensive HSE documentation.
  • Track HSE Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), including Total Man-Hours Worked, LTI-Free Man-Hours, Total Recordable Incident Rate (TRIR), and safety observations.
  • Conduct toolbox talks, safety inductions, emergency drills, and fire evacuation exercises.
  • Participate in internal ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and ISO 9001 audits.
  • Ensure compliance with Saudi regulations and company HSE standards.
  • Promote a strong safety culture through employee engagement and continuous improvement initiatives.

HSE Standards and Compliance

The HSE Officer will contribute directly to upholding and enhancing the company's health, safety, and environmental framework. This involves active participation in internal audits for ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and ISO 9001, ensuring all operational practices meet both international standards and local Saudi regulations. A commitment to fostering a proactive safety culture through employee engagement is a key aspect of this role.

Reporting and Performance Monitoring

A core function of this position involves diligent reporting and tracking of HSE performance. The officer will be responsible for preparing various reports, ranging from daily inspections to monthly HSE summaries and detailed accident investigations. Monitoring key performance indicators such as Total Man-Hours Worked, LTI-Free Man-Hours, and TRIR is crucial for identifying trends and driving continuous improvement in safety outcomes.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Experience required: 0-1 years in a Health, Safety & Environment role.
  • Demonstrated understanding of HSE inspection protocols, risk assessment methodologies (HIRA, JSA), and safety procedures (PPE, LOTO).
  • Familiarity with ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and ISO 9001 standards is beneficial.
  • Ability to prepare clear and accurate HSE reports and maintain documentation.
  • Must be a Saudi National.

Work Setting

This is a full-time position based in Al Kharj, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role involves working across various operational areas including manufacturing, production, warehousing, painting, storage, and dispatch, requiring a presence on site to ensure safety protocols are consistently met.
