Human Rights Gender Equality & Civil Society Expert

About the Role

NTU International A/S is currently leading a consortium for the proposal preparation of the EU-funded project, "Egypt Downtown Facility." This project aims to enhance the effectiveness, coherence, and visibility of the Strategic and Comprehensive Partnership between the European Union and the Arab Republic of Egypt.

Project Objective and Context

The overall objective of this assignment is to provide rapid, flexible, and high-quality technical assistance in support of jointly agreed bilateral cooperation priorities. This initiative will contribute to strengthened policy dialogue, improved program implementation, and reinforced institutional capacities of Egyptian partner entities involved in EU-funded actions. The role is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and is offered on a contract basis.

Key Responsibilities

• Support technical assistance assignments related to human rights.
• Contribute to initiatives focused on gender equality and social inclusion.
• Engage in civil society development efforts.
• Facilitate participatory policy dialogue.
• Implement rights-based approaches within project activities.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Proven experience as a Senior Non-Key Expert in Human Rights, Gender Equality & Civil Society.
• A minimum of 7 years of relevant professional experience.
• Demonstrated expertise in human rights, gender equality, social inclusion, and civil society development.
• Experience with participatory policy dialogue and rights-based approaches.
