The Role of an ICT Teacher

As an ICT Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality information and communication technology education to students. This full-time position involves developing essential digital literacy skills and contributing to a dynamic educational setting in Riyadh.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver high-quality ICT lessons, ensuring they are tailored to students' needs and curriculum standards.
• Develop students' essential skills in digital literacy, data handling, internet safety, and various software applications.
• Maintain and manage the ICT lab environment effectively during practical sessions.
• Assess student performance through practical projects and assignments, providing constructive and timely feedback.
• Integrate innovative educational technology tools into the classroom to enhance the learning experience.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding student development and their achievements in technical skills.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or Education (with an IT/ICT major).
• A recognized teaching certification (*, PGCE or equivalent) is considered a plus.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in teaching ICT, preferably within International Schools that follow British or American curricula.

Required Skills and Attributes

• High proficiency in English is essential, as the curriculum is taught in English.
• Strong knowledge of digital literacy, office applications, basic coding, and modern educational technologies.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver creative, hands-on, and engaging practical lessons.
