Information Technology Support Technician

About the Role

Widen the Net | B Corp™ is seeking an Information Technology Support Technician for a contract position in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role supports a client, one of the world's leading social media platforms, which is expanding its operations in Riyadh. The technician will be the sole on-site IT support, managing vendor relationships and ensuring the delivery of IT services for the new office.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide on-site IT support as part of a global tech lounge team.
• Troubleshoot issues related to Windows OS, Mac OS, Linux OS, IT networks, Active Directory, Office 365, and digital workspace technologies including Okta, Atlassian, Slack, Confluence, Google Workspace, storage, JAMF, AV, and video conferencing.
• Clear ticket backlogs, analyze issues, and follow up with end-users to ensure resolution.
• Escalate technical issues, assist in problem resolution, and identify root causes within established Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
• Build and maintain relationships with third-party software and hardware vendors.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of IT processes and solutions.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in IT support or service desk roles.
• Demonstrated working knowledge in troubleshooting Mac OS X/Mac/Apple technologies and Windows OS/server environments.
• Familiarity with Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions such as JAMF, Intune, or Airwatch.
• Experience with Google Workspace, Okta, Atlassian, or Slack is an advantage.
• Fluent English communication skills are required.

Work Details

This is a contract position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The expected salary range for this role is 8,000 to 11,000 SAR per month, commensurate with experience.
