Inspector Fire Life Safety

About the Role

AECOM is seeking a Field Engineer – Fire, Life, Safety to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves inspecting, testing, and maintaining fire and life safety systems across various commercial and industrial facilities. The successful candidate will ensure all systems comply with local and international safety standards while providing technical support to clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive inspections and testing of fire detection, alarm, and suppression systems.
• Perform routine maintenance and calibration of life safety equipment, including emergency lighting and exit signage systems.
• Diagnose technical issues and implement corrective actions to ensure optimal system performance.
• Document all inspection findings, maintenance activities, and test results in detailed reports.
• Ensure all work complies with applicable Saudi Arabian safety regulations and international fire safety standards.
• Communicate findings and recommendations to clients in a clear and professional manner.
• Schedule and coordinate field visits to meet client requirements and project timelines.
• Maintain accurate records of equipment service history and compliance documentation.
• Troubleshoot system malfunctions and provide technical guidance to clients.
• Stay current with industry standards, codes, and best practices in fire and life safety.
• Collaborate with internal teams to support project delivery and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in fire and life safety inspection and maintenance.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently in the field while maintaining meticulous attention to safety protocols and regulatory requirements.
• Strong understanding of local and international fire safety standards.
• Proficiency in diagnosing technical issues and implementing corrective actions for fire and life safety systems.
