About the Role

The Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority is seeking an Internal Auditor Supervisor to join their team in Riyadh, Riyadh. This full-time position requires 5-10 years of experience and involves leading internal audit activities, ensuring compliance with established guidelines and international standards, and overseeing operational improvements.

Role Purpose

The Internal Auditor Supervisor is responsible for leading work activities autonomously, with minor direction, towards predetermined long-term objectives. This role involves overseeing the implementation of operational plans and driving significant improvements to existing policies, procedures, standards, and reports. Key responsibilities include developing internal audit guidelines and methodologies, creating an annual audit plan, assessing required audit resources, and supervising all related interventions.

Key Responsibilities

Develop internal audit guidelines and methodologies in alignment with QA guidelines, international standards, and best practices.
Assess required audit resources against current capabilities and identify needs for collaboration with external auditors for specific audits.
Collect necessary documents from various functions and develop or update audit checklists and forms.
Detect non-conformities, identify key areas for improvement, and investigate irregularities.
Develop comprehensive audit reports highlighting findings, key discussion points, non-conformities, and areas for improvement.
Present audit reports to relevant stakeholders, provide advice, and agree on areas of improvement, necessary remedial actions, and milestones.
Support junior staff and direct reports in executing their duties according to established policies and processes.
Perform other duties as requested.

Qualifications and Experience

A minimum of 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in internal auditing.
Demonstrated ability to lead work activities and operate autonomously.
Strong understanding of internal audit guidelines, methodologies, and international standards.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Riyadh, within the Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority. The role involves working within a structured environment focused on maintaining high standards of internal audit and operational integrity.
