Landscape Architect

About the Role

AECOM is seeking an experienced Landscape Architect to join its team in Riyadh. This full-time role involves leading the design and delivery of landscape projects across the KSA and Gulf region. The successful candidate will combine creative design expertise with technical proficiency to develop sustainable, functional, and visually compelling outdoor environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive landscape designs and master plans utilizing advanced 3D visualization tools such as SketchUp, Revit, and BIM platforms to communicate design concepts.
• Conduct detailed site analysis and spatial planning assessments to inform design strategies and ensure optimal project outcomes.
• Prepare and deliver high-quality presentation materials and visual documentation using Adobe Creative Suite and digital mapping technologies.
• Integrate sustainable design practices and environmental stewardship principles throughout all project phases, from concept through implementation.
• Utilize GIS software and digital mapping tools to perform environmental analysis and support data-driven design decisions.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure seamless project delivery and design intent realization.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and deliverables while maintaining design excellence and client satisfaction.
• Stay current with industry best practices, emerging technologies, and regional landscape design standards specific to the Gulf market.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• 3-5+ years of professional experience in landscape architecture with demonstrated expertise in design and project delivery.
• Minimum of 1 year of professional experience working in KSA or the Gulf region.

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in 3D visualization tools including SketchUp, Revit, and BIM platforms.
• Competence in Adobe Creative Suite for presentation and visual documentation.
• Experience with GIS software and digital mapping tools.

Work Type and Location

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role involves working on projects across the KSA and Gulf region.
