About the Role

Converge is seeking a Legal Counsel to join a large conglomerate client based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position requires a Saudi National to provide strategic legal support and guidance across the business. The role involves managing complex legal matters, advising business stakeholders, and ensuring robust legal governance within the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

Manage complex legal matters and provide strategic legal advice.
Advise business stakeholders on various legal issues and implications.
Review and negotiate a wide range of agreements.
Ensure strong legal governance and compliance across the organisation.
Collaborate with leadership teams and internal functions to identify legal risks and propose practical solutions.
Support key business decisions and strategic initiatives.
Strengthen existing legal processes and ensure adherence to regulatory frameworks.
Offer trusted legal counsel to support the organisation’s continued growth.

Required Qualifications and Experience

A minimum of 8 years of legal experience.
Essential Saudi legal experience is required.
Strong experience in commercial contracts, corporate matters, and legal advisory.
Experience supporting complex business operations within a large organisation or conglomerate environment.
Strong understanding of regulatory requirements, compliance frameworks, and risk management principles.

Essential Skills

Proven ability to advise senior stakeholders effectively.
Demonstrated capability to manage complex legal matters independently.
Strong negotiation skills.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Proficient stakeholder management skills.

Work Environment and Eligibility

This full-time position is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. In alignment with government Saudisation initiatives, this role is open exclusively to Saudi Nationals.
