Logistics Coordinator

About the Role

Saudi Arabian Trading and Construction Company (SATCO) is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to join one of its giga projects in Riyadh. This is a full-time position requiring 2-5 years of relevant experience.

Role Purpose

The primary purpose of this role is to coordinate bookings, resources, access, storage, and information. The Logistics Coordinator ensures that site deliveries and material movements effectively support the construction sequence, preventing congestion or disruption.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate the delivery-booking process and coordinate supplier arrival times, gate requirements, offloading zones, and responsible receivers.
• Maintain schedules for deliveries, cranes, hoists, forklifts, laydown areas, waste removal, and site access.
• Confirm permits, vehicle details, driver induction, lifting plans, traffic controls, and unloading resources prior to arrival.
• Coordinate daily logistics requirements through look-ahead meetings and communicate approved plans to all affected parties.
• Track deliveries, missed slots, waiting times, demurrage, rejected loads, and material movement status.
• Update logistics drawings, route plans, compound layouts, signage requirements, and constraint registers.
• Escalate capacity conflicts, road closures, plant breakdowns, or storage shortages and propose workable alternatives.
• Prepare daily and weekly reports and maintain accurate, auditable booking and movement records.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 2 to 5 years of experience in logistics coordination or a related field.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex logistical operations within a construction environment.

This full-time position is based in Riyadh, supporting a significant giga project.
