LOS Senior Tester

About the Role

TestCrew | Quality Engineering & Software Testing is seeking an experienced LOS Senior Tester to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role focuses on validating end-to-end loan origination processes within banking or financial services environments, specifically with Newgen Software. The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of experience and a strong background in loan origination workflows, digital banking, and various testing methodologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute test cases and scenarios for the Newgen Loan Origination System (LOS).
• Validate end-to-end loan origination journeys, covering customer onboarding, application submission, credit assessment, approvals, documentation, and loan processing.
• Test customer onboarding workflows, including data validation, document collection, and verification processes.
• Validate credit assessment workflows, eligibility checks, credit decisioning, approval hierarchies, and loan policy rules.
• Test loan application processing, workflow routing, exception handling, and approval mechanisms.
• Validate integration between LOS and other banking systems, such as digital banking channels, customer information systems, credit bureaus, and downstream loan management systems.
• Execute functional testing, integration testing, regression testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Validate digital loan origination journeys across relevant digital channels to ensure a seamless customer experience.
• Verify compliance with business policies, credit guidelines, and applicable banking procedures.
• Identify, document, track, and retest defects, coordinating with business analysts, developers, and functional teams for timely resolution.
• Prepare test plans, test scenarios, test cases, test execution reports, and defect status reports.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and product teams to understand requirements and ensure adequate test coverage.
• Support release validation and regression testing to ensure system stability and data integrity.

Required Skills and Experience

• Hands-on experience with Newgen Loan Origination System (LOS) testing.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end loan origination processes and credit workflows.
• Experience in testing customer onboarding, credit assessment, loan approvals, documentation, and application processing.
• Knowledge of digital banking platforms and digital loan origination journeys.
• Practical experience in functional testing, integration testing, regression testing, and UAT.
• Ability to design and execute test cases based on business requirements and functional specifications.
• Experience in defect identification, documentation, tracking, and retesting.
• Understanding of loan policies, credit approval procedures, and banking compliance requirements.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in banking or financial services projects involving loan origination platforms.
• Familiarity with integrations between LOS, Loan Management Systems (LMS), credit bureaus, and other banking applications.
• Experience working in Agile or other structured software development and testing environments.
• Exposure to digital lending, automated credit decisioning, and workflow-based banking applications.

Work Environment

This role is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and operates on a full-time basis. The position involves collaboration with various business and technical teams to ensure the quality and stability of loan origination systems.
