Mobile Multi Skilled Maintenance Technician

About the Role

Apex Tech is seeking a Mobile Multi-Skilled Maintenance Technician to join its Facilities Management – Operations & Maintenance department in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves performing diverse maintenance tasks across multiple locations, adhering to Apex Tech SOPs, client requirements, and all relevant safety standards including Saudi Civil Defense, SASO, traffic, and HSE regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine electrical service and repair, including lighting installation, switch/socket replacement, AC/heater plate installation, and ventilation fan installation. Identify faults, perform corrective work, and escalate complex issues.
• Diagnose and resolve common plumbing issues such as blockages, flush-tank repairs, toilet seat replacement, tap installation, and leakage repairs for various fixtures and appliances.
• Execute HVAC service activities including deep cleaning, basic servicing, filter maintenance, and minor corrective works for split/window AC units. Address issues like reduced cooling, abnormal noise, and power problems.
• Carry out general civil works and building maintenance, including carpentry, handyman tasks (mirror/shelf installation, door/cupboard repairs), furniture assembly, and minor painting touch-ups.
• Manage mobile work orders, review instructions, organize tasks, and travel efficiently between locations. Maintain timely status updates and coordinate with supervisors regarding access, transport, or technical issues.
• Communicate professionally with customers, explain work performed, obtain completion confirmations, and maintain accurate records including photos, notes, and material details.
• Organize, secure, and maintain assigned hand tools, testing instruments, PPE, and mobile service equipment. Use tools within trained competency and report any damaged or unsafe equipment.
• Utilize spare parts and consumables responsibly, monitor stock levels, and report material requirements proactively to prevent delays.

Qualifications and Experience

• 2-5 years of experience in multi-skilled maintenance, preferably in a mobile field environment.
• Demonstrated competency in electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general civil works.
• Ability to identify faults, perform corrective work, and escalate complex issues appropriately.
• Proficiency in using testing instruments and maintaining safe working practices.

Work Environment and Conduct

• This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
• Adherence to all Apex Tech HSE procedures, client safety requirements, Saudi traffic regulations, and Permit to Work requirements is mandatory.
• Maintain a professional, courteous, and respectful manner with customers, ensuring punctuality, technical quality, and cleanliness.
• Report safety hazards, incidents, customer complaints, or any conditions affecting service quality to the Supervisor immediately.

Compensation

The total monthly package for this role is SAR 3,000, which includes housing and transportation allowances. Further employment benefits and the detailed compensation structure will be discussed during the interview process.
