Opportunity for Saudi National Lawyers

A global law firm is seeking highly qualified Saudi National Lawyers to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. These full-time positions are open to legal professionals with 2+ years of post-qualification experience (PQE) who are looking to contribute to a dynamic international practice.

Practice Areas

The roles are focused across several key legal disciplines, including corporate, finance, projects, and litigation. The specific practice area for each successful candidate will be determined based on their existing experience and the firm's business requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Advise clients on complex cross-border transactions.
• Draft and negotiate legal documents.
• Manage matters in full compliance with Saudi law and regional regulations.
• Collaborate closely with global and regional legal teams.
• Support business development activities.
• Contribute to client pitches and thought leadership initiatives.
• Maintain strong client relationships.
• Supervise junior team members where appropriate.
• Ensure high-quality, timely delivery of legal services.

Candidate Requirements

• Qualified lawyer in Saudi Arabia, holding a valid license to practice.
• Strong knowledge of Saudi law and regulatory frameworks.
• Experience in at least one of the following practice areas:
  • Corporate (M&A, joint ventures)
  • Finance (banking, Islamic finance)
  • Projects (infrastructure, energy)
  • Litigation and dispute resolution
• Prior experience in an international or leading regional law firm is highly beneficial.

Essential Skills and Attributes

• Proven ability to draft, review, and negotiate complex contracts and transactional documents in Arabic.
• Strong client-facing skills, including the ability to advise international and regional clients and manage cross-border matters.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Capacity to work effectively in multicultural and cross-functional teams.

Work Setting

The position is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and operates on a full-time basis. The firm offers some flexibility for remote work arrangements.
