About the Role

Alfanar is seeking an Operations Support Specialist to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is central to ensuring the legal status and operational continuity of employees by managing critical government-related processes. The specialist will oversee Iqama, work permit, and visa procedures, ensuring strict compliance with government regulations, timely renewals, and accurate documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and control Iqama renewal processes through Muqeem, including developing tracking sheets, monitoring shared files, and resolving compliance alerts and emergency cases.
• Oversee work permit management, including reviewing, issuing, and renewing permits, ensuring full compliance with Ministry of Labor requirements.
• Process various ERE (Exit/Re-Entry) visas, such as emergency, extension, final exit, and cancellation, including preparing settlements and handling night-shift processing for urgent cases.
• Coordinate with government entities on special projects, follow up on profession change requests, and process dependent separation payments according to regulations.
• Execute financial transactions for Exit & Re-Entry visas, Iqama renewals, and work permit fees through banking systems, ensuring accurate documentation and timely payments.
• Maintain daily communication with Alfanar's administration and staff, respond to inquiries, resolve issues, and manage professional email correspondence related to government services.
• Provide emergency coverage and duty support, acting as a replacement during departmental vacancies or emergencies, including handling cases during and after official working hours and monitoring night-shift Iqama issues.

• Demonstrate HR proficiency by continuously acquiring updated soft and technical skills relevant to the job.
• Deliver planned activities to meet operational and development targets efficiently within specified cost and timeframes, providing periodic reports on deviations and execution.
• Address and resolve operational problems, escalating complex issues as necessary.
• Ensure quality requirements are met by developing effective quality control processes and specifications.
• Contribute to business process improvements by coordinating written systems, policies, and procedures, and identifying automation opportunities.
• Comply with all relevant company policies, procedures, and work instructions.
• Adhere to health, safety, and environmental management procedures and controls to ensure safety, legislative compliance, and high-quality service delivery.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this position should possess the following:

• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in operations support, particularly with government relations and compliance processes.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex administrative and regulatory tasks efficiently.

Work Environment and Location

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role may require handling emergency cases and monitoring issues during night shifts, reflecting a commitment to continuous operational support.
