About the Role

Yallo Talent is seeking an Oracle APEX Application Support professional to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This contract role involves supporting enterprise applications built with Oracle Application Express (APEX), requiring strong expertise in PL/SQL, database architecture, UI/UX design within APEX, and integration with external systems and APIs. The successful candidate will also possess a solid understanding of ITIL processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Debug and troubleshoot APEX application issues across various environments.
• Prepare comprehensive technical documentation, release notes, and deployment guides.
• Provide ongoing support for existing APEX applications.
• Integrate APEX applications with REST/SOAP web services, APIs, LDAP/SSO, and external data sources.
• Debug and write efficient PL/SQL functions, procedures, packages, and triggers.
• Optimize SQL queries and PL/SQL code to ensure high performance.
• Build automated scheduled jobs, notifications, and background processes using PL/SQL.
• Develop interactive custom reports, dashboards, forms, and workflows.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, propose solutions, and deliver enhancements.

Essential Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5-8+ years of experience in Oracle APEX development and support.
• 5+ years of experience in operation support with a strong understanding of ITIL processes.
• Willingness to work in a 24/7 support environment.
• Oracle certifications (OCP, Oracle APEX Developer Certification) are considered an advantage.

Technical Expertise

• Strong hands-on experience with Oracle APEX (versions *********** or later).
• Expert-level PL/SQL programming skills.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
• Knowledge of Oracle REST Data Services (ORDS).
• Familiarity with JSON/XML, REST APIs, and Web Services integration.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines for APEX deployments is a plus.
• Solid understanding of Oracle Database concepts, including performance tuning, indexing, and data modeling.
• Understanding of database security, roles, privileges, and auditing.
