The Oracle Technical Consultant Role

2P Perfect Presentation is seeking an experienced Oracle Technical Consultant to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role focuses on supporting the design, development, and delivery of Oracle Fusion Cloud extensions and integrations. The consultant will bridge standard Oracle Fusion Cloud SaaS functionality with custom business requirements using Oracle PaaS tools, including Oracle Integration Cloud, VBCS, APEX, and Autonomous Database. A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience is required for this position.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy integrations between Oracle Fusion Cloud applications and third-party or legacy systems using Oracle Integration Cloud.
• Build custom extensions and UI applications utilizing Visual Builder Cloud Service (VBCS) and/or Oracle APEX.
• Develop and maintain BI Publisher and OTBI reports.
• Support data loading activities using FBDI and HDL.
• Design, consume, and manage REST/SOAP web services and API integrations across Oracle Cloud environments.
• Work with Oracle Autonomous Database / Database Cloud Service for custom schemas, PL/SQL logic, and data staging.
• Implement process automation and workflow extensions using Oracle PaaS capabilities.
• Translate functional requirements into technical designs for PaaS-based solutions.
• Manage integration security, including OAuth2, SSL certificates, and Oracle Identity Cloud Service / OCI IAM configurations.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize integrations and custom extensions in production.
• Support Oracle Fusion patching and upgrade cycles through regression testing of integrations and PaaS components.
• Prepare technical design documents, integration specifications, and runbooks.
• Collaborate with functional consultants, architects, and project managers across the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

Required Qualifications and Experience

• 5+ years of experience in Oracle Fusion Cloud SaaS implementations, with a strong focus on PaaS-based extensions and integrations.
• Hands-on experience in Oracle Integration Cloud, including orchestrations, adapters, lookups, mappings, and error handling.
• Experience with VBCS and/or Oracle APEX for building custom applications and user interfaces.
• Strong SQL and PL/SQL skills.
• Experience with Oracle Autonomous Database / ATP / ADW.
• Practical knowledge of FBDI, HDL, BI Publisher, and OTBI.
• Strong experience with REST and SOAP web services, JSON/XML structures, and API security.
• Familiarity with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure fundamentals, including compute, storage, and networking basics related to PaaS deployments.
• Good understanding of Oracle Fusion SaaS data model.
• Experience in at least one Oracle Fusion functional pillar such as Financials, HCM, or SCM.

Preferred Qualifications

• Oracle Cloud certification in OIC, Fusion Cloud, or Oracle Cloud Architecture.
• Experience with Oracle Process Automation, API Platform Cloud Service, or Mobile Cloud Service.
• Prior experience in regulated industries such as banking, insurance, or healthcare.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
