Al Farabi Medical Company is seeking a Pharmacy Operations Manager to oversee the operational performance of its pharmacy chain in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is crucial for optimizing daily operations, enhancing sales and profitability, and ensuring compliance with Saudi pharmaceutical regulations across all branches.

Role Summary

The Pharmacy Operations Manager will be responsible for driving operational excellence, supporting sustainable business growth, and maintaining consistent service quality throughout the pharmacy network. This involves strategic oversight of operations, inventory management, and team development to meet business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee daily operations across all pharmacy branches, ensuring adherence to company policies and operational standards.
Develop and implement operational strategies to achieve sales, profitability, and business growth targets.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), analyze branch performance, and implement corrective actions as needed.
Manage inventory levels, product availability, stock accuracy, and reduce expired or slow-moving products.
Supervise, support, and develop branch managers and pharmacy teams to enhance productivity and performance.
Ensure compliance with Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA) regulations and other applicable healthcare requirements.
Monitor customer service standards and work to enhance the customer experience across all branches.
Analyze sales performance, operating costs, and profit margins to identify areas for improvement.
Coordinate with procurement, finance, HR, marketing, and supply chain departments to ensure efficient operations.
Conduct regular branch visits and operational audits to maintain quality and compliance standards.
Prepare periodic operational and financial reports and present recommendations to senior management.
Participate in business expansion plans, new branch openings, and continuous operational improvement initiatives.

Qualifications and Experience

Proven experience as a Pharmacy Operations Manager or in a similar leadership role within a pharmacy chain.
A minimum of 7 years of relevant experience is required.
Strong understanding of pharmacy operations, inventory management, and sales optimization.
Familiarity with Saudi pharmaceutical regulations, including SFDA guidelines.
Demonstrated ability to lead and develop teams.

Work Environment and Location

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role involves overseeing multiple pharmacy branches and requires regular travel to these locations for operational audits and support.
