About the Role

AMNCO is seeking a Physical Security Pre-sales Engineer to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves supporting the Sales and Business Development teams in designing integrated physical security solutions and developing customer opportunities. The successful candidate will prepare technical proposals and tender submissions, providing essential technical expertise throughout the sales cycle for government, enterprise, and major commercial customers. The position requires 2-5 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with Sales and Business Development teams to understand customer requirements and develop appropriate technical solutions.
Participate in developing customer opportunities and supporting business development activities.
Conduct client meetings, site surveys, technical assessments, presentations, and product demonstrations.
Design integrated physical security solutions, including CCTV, VMS, Access Control, Intrusion Detection, Intercom, ANPR, Perimeter Protection, Road Blockers, Bollards, and Gates.
Prepare technical proposals, Bills of Quantities (BoQs), compliance matrices, system architectures, drawings, and technical documentation.
Review RFPs, RFQs, tender specifications, and scopes of work to ensure full technical compliance.
Prepare cost estimates and coordinate with Procurement, manufacturers, and vendors to obtain competitive technical and commercial proposals.
Optimize solution designs to achieve technical compliance while maintaining commercial competitiveness.
Develop system architectures, network topologies, equipment selections, and integration requirements.
Coordinate with project and technical teams to ensure a smooth handover from pre-sales to project execution.
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, consultants, manufacturers, technology partners, and suppliers.
Stay current with emerging physical security technologies, industry standards, and market developments.

Qualifications and Education

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Computer, Telecommunications Engineering, IT, or a related technical field.
Minimum of 3–5 years of relevant experience in Physical Security Systems Pre-sales, Solution Design, or Technical Sales.
Strong technical knowledge of CCTV, VMS, Access Control, Intrusion Detection, Intercom, ANPR, and Perimeter Security Systems.
Proven experience preparing BoQs, technical proposals, compliance matrices, system designs, and tender submissions.
Good understanding of IP networking, system integration, servers, storage, and security system architecture.
Established customer portfolio and professional network within the Saudi physical security market, with the ability to identify and support new business opportunities.
Existing relationships with government, enterprise, consultants, and major commercial customers are highly preferred.
Experience working with major physical security manufacturers and technology partners.
Experience with government and enterprise tenders in Saudi Arabia is highly preferred.

Required Skills

Proficiency in AutoCAD and relevant design/documentation tools is preferred.
Strong communication, presentation, and customer-facing skills.
Good command of English; Arabic is an advantage.
Ability to manage multiple tenders and opportunities simultaneously under tight deadlines.
