The Platform Ops Lead Role

NTT DATA is seeking a Platform Ops Lead to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This is a development management role with primary responsibility for supervising and controlling technologies, alongside providing essential technology support. The role also involves analyzing systems and processes for deployment to ensure they are fit for purpose. The Platform Ops Lead will be instrumental in providing, operating, and maintaining technology within the organization, contributing to tactical planning, and fostering a collaborative and innovative team culture focused on operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate the execution of the IT strategy, ensuring alignment with the overall business strategy.
• Ensure that network equipment, hardware, software, and services meet business requirements.
• Provide input into the organization's technology planning, utilizing strategic and high-impact technologies for competitive positioning.
• Participate in the development of annual technology goals and detailed plans for their accomplishment.
• Assist with the identification of emerging information technologies for assimilation, integration, and introduction within the infrastructure, maintaining the company's current and competitive standing.
• Coordinate the development, design, and implementation of new applications and changes to existing systems and software packages.
• Manage and maintain applications and systems, including the acquisition, installation, and maintenance of local area network hardware and/or software.
• Implement and maintain technology policies, standards, and procedures manuals, along with related technology checklists, and provide written technology policy guidance to direct reports.
• Ensure the continual functioning of mission-critical operations and assist with the planning, organizing, directing, controlling, and evaluation of information systems operations.
• Develop skills to manage and lead a team of IT professionals, fostering a collaborative and innovative team culture focused on operational excellence.

Experience and Employment Details

This full-time position requires candidates to possess 5-10 years of relevant experience. The role is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
