PR manager

About the Role

OPPO is seeking a PR Manager to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is critical for driving product and brand awareness within the Saudi market, requiring 5-10 years of relevant experience in public relations.

Product Public Relations Strategy

• Develop comprehensive product public relations and communication strategies and plans. This includes defining core information and communication topics based on product positioning, selling points, and Saudi market insights.
• Promote the localization and effective implementation of global communication strategies within Saudi Arabia.
• Continuously optimize strategies based on communication feedback to enhance product volume and core awareness.
• Lead the planning of product public relations events and communication topics by analyzing technology trends, consumer trends, and local social hotspots.
• Translate product capabilities into highly engaging and influential communication content for the Saudi market.

Brand Image and Stakeholder Engagement

• Plan brand public relations topics, collaborations, and events that align with brand positioning and local social culture in Saudi Arabia.
• Strengthen the brand's high-end, innovative, and differentiated perception, thereby enhancing its influence and favorability among target audiences.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with core technology media and Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) across Saudi Arabia.
• Develop and manage a robust media and KOL matrix to facilitate high-quality evaluations, reporting, and third-party endorsements, ultimately boosting brand and product influence.

Content Development and Storytelling

• Gain a deep understanding of products to effectively translate technical capabilities into tangible user value.
• Responsible for planning and developing core PR materials, including press releases, review guides, and media briefs.
• Ensure compelling product stories are crafted and content is disseminated accurately and attractively.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Familiarity with the smartphone, technology products, or digital 3C industry, coupled with strong product understanding.
• Demonstrated abilities in content planning and public relations topic planning.
• Experience in mobile phone brands, technology media, or PR agencies is preferred.
• Candidates with a strong interest in digital technology are preferred.
• Familiarity with the Saudi media and KOL ecosystem.

Essential Skills and Language Proficiency

• Excellent communication, project promotion, and cross-team collaboration skills.
• Fluency in Arabic is mandatory.
• Proficiency in English is required as a working language.
• Chinese communication skills are preferred.
