About the Role

Alfanar is seeking a Pre Qualification & Prescription Manager Utilities alfanar Electric to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves overseeing prequalification processes and ensuring excellence in prescription activities within the power and water sectors. The manager will lead a team to achieve high standards and contribute to the company's success in project pursuits.

Key Responsibilities

Contribute to the formulation and implementation of Power & Water sales strategies, plans, and processes, ensuring alignment with alfanar’s objectives.
Stay updated on modifications to documents, approvals, or requirements from end users and consultants regarding power and water products.
Build and maintain strong relationships with local and international end users, consultants, and key stakeholders in the power and water sectors.
Monitor achievements and deviations in marketing and sales plans, providing regular progress reports and recommendations for corrective actions.
Ensure effective implementation of the prequalification strategy by setting objectives and managing team performance.
Actively participate in the coordination of power and water-related products and solutions across alfanar’s units.
Provide and implement tools to meet market requirements, especially those supporting technical specification and compliance approaches.
Stay informed about market trends and requirements, specifying market needs for current and future power and water solutions.
Conduct market research, including customer visits, to identify current and future requirements for power and water products.
Forecast long- and short-term market potential for the power and water sectors in Saudi Arabia.
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory standards within the power and water sales domain.
Provide comprehensive support to local end users and clients adopting alfanar’s power and water solutions.

Managerial Accountabilities

Recruit, recognize, and cultivate high performers to create a robust second line of management.
Guide low performers to improve or manage their release.
Ensure fair treatment of subordinates without discrimination, basing assessments on performance.
Take full responsibility for operations as per the job description and deliverables, adhering to company guidelines.
Anticipate problems and take proactive steps to prevent them, making timely and proper decisions.
Deliver required results in a timely manner with specified quality and cost.
Make a tangible difference in the area of operation and exceed business expectations.
Transform corporate goals into business plans, and plan, follow up, and execute these plans.
Monitor plan performance, initiate actions to strengthen results, and take corrective actions.
Provide periodic work progress reports and monitor/control budgets and expenses for optimum cost efficiency.
Develop the organizational structure according to current and future requirements.
Ensure availability of job descriptions for all roles.
Develop and coordinate written systems, policies, procedures, and seek automation opportunities.
Be conversant with and navigate IT solutions relevant to the job and business, promoting their full use.

Adapt to new techniques, technologies, management structures, and business models.
Ensure a safe, secure, and legal work environment as per standard regulations.

Qualifications and Experience

A minimum of 5 to 10 years of relevant experience is required for this role.

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role involves working within a dynamic team focused on the power and water sectors.
