About the Presales Solutions Architect Role

Atos is seeking a Presales Solutions Architect for its operations in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is strategic, focusing on shaping and driving technology transformation initiatives for Atos’ clients as part of the Atos KSA/MET Growth Strategy and Execution Framework. The position requires a blend of technical expertise, business acumen, and architectural leadership to translate customer needs into scalable, future-ready end-to-end solutions and executable transformation roadmaps. The architect will lead presales engagements, solution design, and technical assessments across Data, AI/ML, and Cloud domains, ensuring solutions are innovative, robust, and aligned with industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with customer CXOs and Technology Leaders to build business outcome-driven technological transformation visions, SMART objectives, green/brownfield strategies, and program charters.
• Define, design, and govern Enterprise Architecture (business, technical data, AI & security) using frameworks like TOGAF and Zachman to produce strategic blueprints.
• Conduct detailed feasibility analysis, including the 6R Modernization model and Greenfield/Brownfield assessment, to define and guide MVP-based roadmaps.
• Create business cases for multi-year programs, defining MVP-based roadmaps and wave-based rollouts through agile, waterfall, or hybrid delivery models.
• Ensure strategic blueprints are compliant with regulatory frameworks such as PDPL, CCRF, NCA, GDPR, and ISO 27001.
• Partner with Account Executives and Sales Leaders to drive Atos’ strategic accounts and establish influential customer engagement to secure and deliver contracts.
• Lead customer requirements and RFI/RFP/RFQ responses to deliver end-to-end solutions with Atos’ USPs, focusing on commercial metrics including T2V, TTM, TCO, xLAs, quality, cost, and profitability.
• Drive Atos Offering Portfolios and leverage Atos’ strategic global and local technology product and service partnerships.

Technical Expertise in Data & AI

The role requires expertise across various Data and AI technical services, including:

• Designing modern data platforms, lakehouses, and data mesh architectures aligned with business KPIs.
• Transforming legacy platforms into cloud-native, scalable, and secure data environments.
• Implementing data governance, data quality, metadata management, lineage, cataloging, and master data frameworks aligned with SDAIA/NDMO.
• Building advanced dashboards, analytical models, and AI-driven insights using ML, predictive analytics, and data science workflows.
• Implementing CI/CD for data pipelines, monitoring, observability, and automated data quality checks (DataOps).
• Developing AI-driven automation solutions such as Intelligent Document Processing (IDP), Computer Vision pipelines, Conversational AI, and NLP/NLU platforms.
• Architecting Enterprise GenAI applications, RAG architectures, vector search, prompt engineering, and AI agents for task orchestration (GenAI & Agentic AI).
• Managing end-to-end model lifecycle covering training, deployment, versioning, monitoring, explainability, and drift detection (MLOps / GenOps).
• Implementing low-latency AI inference at the edge and AI testing frameworks to mitigate adversarial attacks, data poisoning, bias, and model leakage (Edge AI & AI Reliability).
• Conducting Data/AI maturity assessments, capability gap analysis, risk evaluations, and defining AI and Data strategy, investment priorities, and transformation roadmaps aligned with business objectives and KSA regulatory constraints (Data & AI Advisory).
• Architecting and delivering sector-specific Data & AI solutions for Government, Smart Cities, Healthcare, BFSI, Energy, and Aviation.

Key Deliverables

As part of assessments and solutions, the architect will be responsible for the following customer deliverables:

• Creation and presentation of comprehensive Atos Portfolios & Capabilities aligned to customers’ vision, business requirements, strategy architecture blueprints, and security models.
• Development of detailed business cases, including Business Values, Total Cost of Ownership (TCO), and Return on Investment (ROI).
• Definition of MVP-based roadmaps and wave-based rollouts.

Required Experience and Qualifications

• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in presales, solution architecture, or a similar technical leadership role.
• Demonstrated strong customer-facing and consulting skills, with experience supporting large-scale digital transformation programs.
• Experience working across regulated sectors such as Government, Public Sector, Financial Services, Energy, and Aviation.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with Sales, Delivery, Product teams, and strategic partners.
• Understanding of KSA regulatory frameworks, including SDAIA, NDMO, NCA, SAMA, and PDPL.

Performance and Success Metrics

Success in this role is measured by factors such as the accuracy of estimated TCO and ROI, demonstrated improvements in Time to Value (T2V) and Time to Market (TTM), adherence to compliance and regulatory standards, and positive stakeholder alignment scores. Internal Atos metrics include business growth (Order Entry, Revenue, Profitability), efficiency and effectiveness in delivering quality solutions, and the win rate for strategic accounts.
