Sulzer is a leading engineering company with a proud heritage of innovation. We are seeking a Procurement Specialist to join our global team in Riyadh. This full-time role contributes to developing innovative solutions that support a prosperous and sustainable society.

Role Purpose and Scope

The Procurement Specialist is responsible for the strategic sourcing, negotiation, and purchasing of critical instrumentation, electrical, and general components essential for pump manufacturing. This position ensures the timely availability of materials, maintains cost competitiveness, and guarantees compliance with all technical and quality requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Identify and select qualified suppliers for instrumentation, electrical, general components, and Class C materials, including contract negotiation and pricing.
Review and assess technical specifications to ensure alignment with project and department needs.
Manage procurement budgets, monitor costs, and implement cost-saving strategies specifically for electrical items and general components.
Coordinate effectively with internal departments, suppliers, and project teams to ensure timely delivery and prevent project delays.
Ensure all procured products meet Sulzer's quality standards and comply with regulatory requirements.
Identify potential procurement risks, maintain comprehensive documentation, and implement mitigation strategies for supply chain issues.

Qualifications and Experience

Minimum of 3 years’ experience in procuring high-volume materials for large-scale projects.
