About the Role

Roche is seeking a Product Manager RIS for a full-time position in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role serves as the primary technical and operational expert for the Roche Information Solutions (RIS) portfolio, focusing on digital products, Lab Insights, and Healthcare Insights across the region. The Product Manager RIS will collaborate with Global Product Hubs to manage software lifecycles, implement phase-in/phase-out (PiPo) strategies for digital platforms, and provide critical commercial support.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive specific portfolio call-to-actions and manage product lifecycles, material introductions, and PiPo transitions to ensure operational continuity.
• Provide detailed technical tender support for RIS digital portfolios, including software specifications, IT architecture requirements, and data security documentation.
• Deliver and coordinate advanced technical product training for local commercial teams, aligning with global standards to enable effective sales of Lab and Healthcare Insights.
• Represent local affiliate interests within Global Product Hubs and Regional Communities of Practice (CoP), ensuring regional IT infrastructure and data privacy needs are integrated into global digital product strategies.
• Manage local pricing strategies, including subscription/SaaS models, for the RIS portfolio during product activations.
• Ensure cost-effective product transitions (PiPo) to minimize disruptions during software upgrades and digital material introductions.

Stakeholder Engagement

• Act as the primary interface with Global Product Hubs and Regional CoPs to represent local technical/IT needs and align on global training standards.
• Collaborate with Integrated Marketing Partners to provide technical specifications and digital value narratives for marketing campaigns.
• Partner with Tender and Key Account Management Teams to provide technical support and IT documentation for strategic tender submissions.
• Influence and enable Network Commercial and Sales Teams through digital solution training and platform transition management.
• Work with Quality, Regulatory, IT, and Data Privacy Teams to ensure compliant distribution of Marketing Notifications and alignment with local data privacy laws.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Experience: 5+ years in product management, health informatics, digital solutions, or specialized technical sales within the In Vitro Diagnostics (IVD) or Healthcare IT industry.
• Subject Matter Expertise: Deep product knowledge in Digital Health, Laboratory Information Systems, Lab Insights, and Healthcare Data Analytics.
• Tender & Procurement Acumen: Strong experience with technical IT tender specifications and hospital procurement processes, including engagement with IT directors and CIOs.
• Matrix Leadership: Demonstrated ability to influence internal sales leaders, cross-functional local teams, and global hubs without direct authority.
• Change Agility: Proven ability to adapt to change, navigate ambiguity, and drive new ways of working within a transforming global framework.
• Collaboration: Ability to break down silos and standardize processes for alignment between global digital hubs, local data privacy requirements, and commercial execution.

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional Background: Experience managing complex software Phase-In/Phase-Out (PiPo) strategies, SaaS pricing, and handling software-related regulatory/marketing notifications.
• Education: University degree in a relevant scientific, IT, or healthcare discipline (*, Health Informatics, Biomedical Engineering, Computer Science). An advanced business degree is a plus.

Work Environment

This is an Individual Contributor position based in Riyadh, requiring strong lateral leadership skills to manage technical complexity across the RIS portfolio without direct reporting lines. The role involves close collaboration with global and regional teams.
