About the Program Manager Role

Amazon Saudi Arabia is seeking an experienced Program Manager to lead the expansion of its operations network. Based in Riyadh, this full-time role focuses on scaling operations through the launch of new facilities and strategic expansion initiatives across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The position requires 5-10 years of relevant experience.

Scope of the Role

The Program Manager will own the end-to-end delivery of network expansion projects, encompassing site selection, design, construction, launch readiness, and operational handover. This role leads complex, high-visibility programs that directly contribute to customer experience, business growth, and operational excellence. Success in this position requires balancing strategic thinking with hands-on execution to deliver results in a fast-paced environment where priorities evolve quickly.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of network expansion and launch programs, ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget.
• Develop project plans, launch schedules, governance mechanisms, and risk mitigation strategies across multiple concurrent initiatives.
• Partner with operations, engineering, finance, procurement, and real estate teams to define requirements and ensure successful project execution.
• Manage external vendors, consultants, contractors, and service providers throughout the project lifecycle.
• Track project performance through data, metrics, and reporting mechanisms, identifying risks and driving corrective actions when required.
• Own stakeholder communication, providing clear updates on milestones, dependencies, financial performance, risks, and launch readiness.
• Drive process standardization and continuous improvement initiatives to improve launch speed, reduce cost, and increase scalability across markets.
• Support business planning activities including capital planning, budget forecasting, resource planning, and long-term network expansion strategies.
• Conduct site visits and audits to validate project progress, operational readiness, quality standards, and compliance requirements.
• Build scalable tools, mechanisms, and operating models that enable efficient execution of future expansion programs.

Team and Collaboration

The Program Manager will be part of the Amazon Now team, a high-velocity, high-visibility group responsible for launching programs that unlock new growth and capabilities globally. This role involves close collaboration with operations, engineering, finance, procurement, and external partners to keep projects on schedule and within budget. Working from Riyadh, the Program Manager will collaborate with global teams and contribute to elevating Amazon’s capabilities in a market of strategic importance.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• 5-10 years of experience in program management, particularly in scaling operations or launching new facilities.
• Demonstrated ability to lead complex, high-visibility programs.
• Strong program management skills with a proven track record of end-to-end project delivery.
