Project Manager Substation

About the Role

Larsen & Toubro is seeking a Project Manager Substation to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position involves overseeing the planning, execution, and successful delivery of 380kV BSP projects. The role requires ensuring strict compliance with SEC requirements, project timelines, quality standards, safety protocols, and budgetary constraints.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end project execution, from mobilization through energization and final handover.
• Manage project schedule, cost, resources, manpower, and material requirements.
• Coordinate effectively with SEC, consultants, clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.
• Monitor project progress and ensure timely achievement of all milestones.
• Oversee engineering, procurement, construction, testing, and commissioning activities.
• Identify potential project risks and implement timely corrective actions.
• Ensure full compliance with SEC/NG-SEC standards, quality specifications, and HSE requirements.
• Manage commercial matters, including variations, claims, and cost optimization initiatives.
• Drive effective stakeholder management and cultivate strong client relationships.
• Ensure timely project completion, comprehensive documentation, and final handover.

Qualifications and Experience

• 5-10 years of experience in project management.
• Demonstrated experience in EPC Substation Projects within Saudi Arabia.
• Exposure to projects involving SEC, National Grid SA, or other major utility companies.
• A strong track record of delivering substation civil works safely, within budget, and on schedule.
• SEC approved Project Manager is preferred.

• A transferable iqama is considered an advantage.
