About the Role

Alfanar is seeking a QA/QC Architectural Engineer for Alfanar Building Systems. This full-time position is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and requires 2-5 years of relevant experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for controlling and monitoring the quality of all architectural works, ensuring strict compliance with project requirements and approved documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Review architectural drawings, specifications, material submittals, method statements, Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), and approved samples.
• Inspect architectural works to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Monitor the quality of architectural works, including blockwork, plastering, finishes, flooring, stone/marble, painting, drywall, ceilings, doors, façade/cladding, waterproofing interfaces, and fit-out works.
• Prepare and review Work Inspection Requests (WIR)/Material Inspection Requests (MIR), inspection checklists, ITPs, and quality documentation.
• Verify delivered materials, mockups, and samples against approved requirements.
• Identify non-conforming works, raise Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs)/Site Observation Reports (SORs), and follow up on corrective and rectification actions.
• Monitor subcontractor workmanship to ensure compliance with project quality requirements.
• Coordinate with Site, Construction, Technical Office, Procurement, and Consultant teams on quality and inspection matters.
• Participate in mockup, consultant/client inspections, snagging, de-snagging, and final handover activities.
• Maintain accurate inspection records, test reports, approved samples, and quality documentation.
• Ensure architectural works are executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and ITPs.
