The Role of QAQC Inspector (Metro)

SYSTRA is seeking a QAQC Inspector to join the Project Management Consultant (PMC) team for a Metro project in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves monitoring and verifying that construction works adhere to approved drawings, project specifications, contract requirements, quality plans, inspection and test plans, and applicable standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct routine QA/QC inspections of civil construction works at the metro station site.
• Verify compliance with approved drawings, specifications, quality plans, inspection and test plans, and method statements.
• Review and monitor contractor inspection requests, ensuring works are offered for inspection at appropriate stages.
• Inspect materials delivered to site and verify compliance with approved submittals and project requirements.
• Witness relevant field and laboratory tests in accordance with project quality requirements.
• Identify non-conforming works and report quality issues to the Resident Engineer or relevant supervision staff.
• Monitor corrective and preventive actions and verify the close-out of quality issues.
• Maintain accurate quality records, reports, checklists, test results, and inspection documentation.
• Coordinate with contractor QA/QC personnel and PMC supervision teams on quality-related matters.
• Support audits, surveillance activities, snagging, de-snagging, and handover inspections.
• Ensure work is carried out in line with project quality procedures and relevant health and safety requirements.
• Report any concerns that may affect quality, compliance, or timely project delivery.

Qualifications and Experience
