Khazeen is a company based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. We are currently seeking a Quality Inspector to join our team in a full-time capacity. This role is crucial for maintaining the high standards of our gas cylinder production and handling operations.

Role Purpose

The Quality Inspector is responsible for ensuring the quality, safety, and compliance of all gas cylinder production and handling operations. This involves conducting inspections, monitoring processes, and verifying adherence to established quality standards and procedures. The role focuses on identifying and reporting deviations, coordinating with relevant departments to resolve quality issues, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives across plant and yard activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct daily inspections of cylinder production lines to ensure adherence to weight tolerances, body quality, leak test results, and rubber seal integrity.
• Verify the correct calibration and functioning of electronic weighing devices and testing equipment.
• Record inspection data in the quality system and flag deviations for corrective action.
• Ensure rejected or defective cylinders are properly segregated and documented.
• Collaborate with the production line supervisor to immediately address and resolve quality issues affecting operations.
• Support in root cause analysis for recurring quality problems and recommend corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Communicate with maintenance and safety teams regarding any equipment or process nonconformance impacting product quality.
• Maintain a follow-up log for identified issues until resolution is achieved.
• Conduct regular tests as per the quality plan, including leak tests, dimensional checks, and weight verification.
• Document all inspection findings, test results, and nonconformities using approved templates and systems.
• Prepare daily and monthly reports summarizing production quality trends, major issues, and recommendations.
• Ensure production activities are carried out in line with approved Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and the Quality Manual.
• Monitor the implementation of preventive maintenance schedules for production and inspection equipment.
• Monitor gas cylinder handling, storage, and yard operations to ensure compliance with safety and quality requirements.
• Participate in the inspection and evaluation of defective or returned cylinders from distributors.

Qualifications and Experience

• 2-5 years of experience in a quality control or inspection role, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Demonstrated ability to conduct detailed inspections and monitor processes.
• Experience with quality management systems and documentation.

Working Conditions

This is an in-branch role with a medium physical risk degree. The position requires active involvement in plant and yard activities in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
