About the Role

Daikin Saudi is seeking an HVAC Technician - Industrial Refrigeration to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, specifically in the Al Dar Al Baida District. This full-time role involves the installation, operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of HVAC systems to ensure reliable performance and high customer satisfaction. The position requires 2-5 years of experience, hands-on technical expertise, strong diagnostic capabilities, and adherence to safety and service quality standards. The technician will execute service activities independently on-site while coordinating with supervisors and service teams to meet contractual SLAs and operational targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of Air-Cooled Chiller, Centrifugal Chiller, VRV&DX, Industrial Refrigeration (Ammonia Plant), and Commercial Refrigeration systems.
• Diagnose electrical, mechanical, and control faults, and implement corrective actions efficiently.
• Support commissioning, operation, and maintenance activities to ensure systems operate according to OEM standards.
• Identify root causes of system issues to minimize repeat breakdowns.
• Optimize system performance through proper servicing, parameter checks, and minor adjustments.
• Escalate complex or recurring technical issues to supervisors as needed.
• Act as the on-site technical representative, maintaining professional communication with customers.
• Clearly explain service activities, findings, and recommendations to customers.
• Ensure high service quality and customer satisfaction during all visits.
• Complete service reports, checklists, and job documentation accurately and on time.
• Record system data, faults, and actions taken.
• Coordinate with supervisors, planners, and spare parts teams for smooth execution of tasks.
• Follow all safety procedures, PPE requirements, and permit systems.
• Ensure safe handling of tools, equipment, and refrigerants.
• Stay updated on product knowledge, service practices, and new HVAC technologies.
• Participate in training programs and apply learned skills in field activities.

Qualifications and Experience

• 2-5 years of experience in HVAC systems, with a focus on industrial refrigeration.
• Demonstrated hands-on technical expertise in installation, maintenance, and repair.
• Strong diagnostic capability for electrical, mechanical, and control faults.
• Ability to work independently on-site while coordinating with team members.
• Commitment to safety procedures and service quality standards.
