About the Role

Proofpoint is seeking a highly motivated Regional Account Manager to develop the Saudi Arabian territory. This full-time position is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and focuses on expanding the company's market share within the region.

Role Overview

The Regional Account Manager will be responsible for converting prospects into sales by differentiating Proofpoint's offerings from competitors and collaborating with channel partners to build and grow a joint business. The role requires interaction with small and medium-sized enterprises, including CISO-level executives, as well as technical staff within security and IT organizations. This individual will also work closely with the Sales Engineer team and leverage corporate resources within their assigned account base.

Key Responsibilities

Focus on hunting and developing new logo accounts (cross-vertical) with between 751 and 2,500 users.
Increase market share of Proofpoint products through outbound telephone prospecting to commercial accounts within an assigned region.
Plan, coordinate, and deliver web-based and onsite product demonstrations.
Collaborate with Sales Engineers to prepare account strategies and plans.
Partner with the channel to drive incremental revenue.
Focus on hunting and developing new Proofpoint accounts in the market.

Candidate Profile

The successful candidate will be results-oriented and possess strong business acumen. This individual should demonstrate a proven ability to build business pipelines, accurately forecast, and close business. Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills are essential for this role.
