About the Role

Bupa Arabia is seeking a Registrar in Endocrinology to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time position involves providing specialized care for patients with endocrine and metabolic disorders, integrating clinical expertise with digital health technologies.

Role Overview

The Registrar - Endocrinology is a physician undergoing advanced training who delivers specialized care for patients with endocrine and metabolic disorders. The role utilizes both virtual and physical clinic platforms, incorporating digital health technologies to offer accessible and efficient patient-centered care for conditions such as diabetes mellitus, thyroid disorders, osteoporosis, and metabolic syndrome. This position operates under the supervision of a Consultant, ensuring clinical excellence, patient safety, and continuous professional development within an integrated care setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct virtual and in-person consultations for patients with acute, chronic, and complex endocrine conditions.
• Utilize telehealth tools, including video, phone, and secure messaging, for patient assessment, diagnosis, and management.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans, encompassing medication management, lifestyle modifications, and specialist referrals.
• Provide continuity of care for patients with long-term conditions such as diabetes, hypothyroidism, and osteoporosis.
• Monitor treatment adherence and clinical outcomes, adjusting management plans as necessary.
• Accurately document all clinical findings, diagnoses, and treatment plans in the patient health record.
• Adhere to all relevant medical regulations, ethical guidelines, and quality assurance standards for both telehealth and in-person practice.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives, clinical audits, and incident reporting.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of telehealth regulations, governance frameworks, and best practices.
• Communicate effectively with patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and follow-up care.
• Collaborate with physicians, subspecialists, dietitians, nurses, and allied health professionals for integrated patient management.
• Continuously enhance professional knowledge and clinical skills in endocrinology and integrated care.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Proficiency in endocrinology assessment and management, including diabetes mellitus, thyroid disorders, osteoporosis, metabolic syndrome, and PCOS.
• Telehealth consultation skills using video, phone, and secure messaging platforms.
• Proficiency in EMR systems, digital health tools, and telemedicine platforms.
• Evidence-based clinical decision-making and safe prescribing in endocrinology.
• Ability to apply population health management and value-based care approaches.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with patients and multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to manage multiple clinical priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and evidence-based practice.
• Arabic and English language proficiency (or English proficiency at a minimum).
• Medicine and Surgery degree.

Work Environment
