About the Role

Alfanar is seeking a Security Manager Facility to lead industrial security operations across its facilities in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is central to establishing and maintaining a secure environment by developing and enforcing robust security policies, overseeing advanced security systems, and ensuring strict compliance with national and company standards. The manager will coordinate with government authorities, manage security risks, supervise security personnel, and ensure effective emergency preparedness and incident response.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and enforce comprehensive industrial security policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with organizational and regulatory requirements.
Oversee the operation and maintenance of site access control, surveillance, intrusion detection, and alarm systems across all company facilities.
Coordinate with relevant government authorities to ensure compliance with national security standards and maintain updated knowledge of legal requirements.
Lead periodic security audits and risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities, and develop and implement corrective action plans.
Supervise and coordinate the activities of internal security staff and contracted security personnel, conducting performance evaluations and ensuring adherence to professional standards.
Develop, implement, and regularly test site-specific emergency response plans, coordinating drills and simulations for various security and emergency scenarios.
Conduct regular security training and awareness sessions for employees across all levels, promoting awareness of security practices and emergency protocols.
Lead security incident response activities, including initial containment, investigation, resolution, and accurate, timely reporting of all security-related incidents.

Leadership and People Management

Recruit, recognize, and cultivate high performers to create a robust second line of management, and guide or manage low performers effectively.
Treat subordinates equally without discrimination, basing assessment criteria on performance that leads to planned results.
Ensure the availability of a delegation of authority matrix to provide sufficient delegations as per company policy.
Take full responsibility for operations and deliverables, anticipating problems and making proactive steps to prevent them.
Demonstrate the ability to make necessary and proper timely decisions.

Business Planning and Operational Excellence

Deliver required results in a timely manner, meeting specified quality and cost standards.
Make a tangible difference to the area of operation and consistently exceed business expectations.
Translate corporate goals into business plans, and effectively plan, follow up, and execute annual and development plans.
Monitor plan performance, initiate actions to strengthen results, and implement corrective measures accordingly.
Provide periodic work progress reports and manage budgets and expenses to achieve optimum cost efficiency.
Develop the organizational structure based on current requirements, considering future and development plans, and ensure job descriptions are available for all roles.
Develop and coordinate well-defined written systems, policies, and procedures, actively seeking automation opportunities.
Be conversant with and able to navigate IT solutions relevant to the job and business, promoting their full utilization to spread an automated culture.
