About the Opportunity

Saudi Services For Electro Mechanic Works Co. SSEM is seeking a Senior AP Accountant to join their finance team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is integral to maintaining robust financial operations and ensuring compliance with established procedures.

Role Overview

The Senior AP Accountant will be responsible for critical accounts payable functions, focusing on the accurate processing and verification of invoices, managing payment schedules, and monitoring project expenses. This role requires a meticulous approach to financial record-keeping and adherence to company policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure Petty Cash Policy & Procedures are well maintained and followed.
• Ensure Invoice Validation Procedure is well maintained and followed.
• Check and verify suppliers and subcontractors' invoices, ensuring a 3-way match in Oracle Fusion.
• Prepare the PMT Payment Priority List.
• Follow up with the Riyadh Office for payments.
• Monitor project expenses and prepare monthly accruals.

Required Experience

Candidates for this Senior AP Accountant role should possess 0-1 years of relevant experience in accounts payable or a similar financial accounting function. A foundational understanding of accounting principles and financial procedures is essential for success in this position.
