About the Role

MDK Consultant is seeking a highly experienced Senior Architect with a focus on design to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is integral to a major sports infrastructure project currently underway in the region. The role requires a professional who can contribute significantly to the architectural design and delivery of large-scale, complex developments.

Role Overview

As a Senior Architect specializing in design, you will play a crucial part in the successful execution of significant sports infrastructure projects. This involves overseeing various stages from initial concept through to project completion. The position demands a comprehensive understanding of architectural principles and their application within large-scale construction environments, ensuring adherence to international standards and project specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and contribute to design development processes for complex architectural projects.
• Conduct thorough technical reviews of architectural plans and documentation.
• Prepare and manage construction documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Provide effective site supervision to ensure design integrity and quality during construction phases.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture.
• Proven experience, typically 15 years, in the design and delivery of stadiums, sports facilities, or other large-scale complex projects.

Required Skills and Knowledge

• Strong knowledge of FIFA standards and international building codes.
• Demonstrated ability in multidisciplinary coordination within project teams.
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency in stakeholder management to ensure project alignment and successful outcomes.
