About the Role

Razin Furniture Co. is seeking a Senior Cost Estimator (Joinery & Interior Fit Out) to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role requires an experienced professional with over 10 years of expertise in joinery, interior fit-out, and woodworking projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurate cost estimation, tendering, and budget control for various projects.

Role Overview

The Senior Cost Estimator will play a critical role in ensuring competitive and accurate project costings. This involves applying strong analytical skills, conducting value engineering, and collaborating with various departments to achieve financial control and smooth project execution. The position demands a proven track record in managing large-scale projects within the hospitality, residential, and bespoke furniture sectors.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed Bills of Quantities (BOQs), cost estimates, and budgets for joinery, furniture, and interior fit-out projects.
• Analyze project drawings, specifications, and client requirements to develop precise cost breakdowns.
• Prepare tenders, quotations, and technical submissions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with client and consultant requirements.
• Conduct value engineering to optimize costs without compromising quality or project specifications.
• Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing and finalize subcontracts.
• Support the procurement team in identifying cost-effective purchasing strategies.
• Perform variance analysis between estimated and actual project costs, providing insights for continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with project management, design, production, and finance teams to ensure smooth execution and financial control.
• Evaluate and certify subcontractor invoices and assist with the preparation of payment applications.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends, material costs, and industry benchmarks.

Qualifications and Experience

• Over 10 years of experience in cost estimation, tendering, and budget control within joinery, interior fit-out, and woodworking projects.
• Proven expertise in handling large-scale hospitality, residential, and bespoke furniture projects.
• Strong analytical skills and value engineering capabilities.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and coordination skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and deliver accurate estimates within tight deadlines.

Work Type and Location

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role requires on-site presence and collaboration with various internal teams and external stakeholders.
