The Senior Manager - District Cooling Opportunity in Riyadh

This role presents an opportunity to contribute to a significant program in Saudi Arabia, based in Riyadh. The project involves a large-scale mixed-use development, encompassing sports facilities, entertainment venues, arts complexes, and associated infrastructure. As a key delivery partner, Mace Group requires experienced professionals to lead integrated teams throughout the project phases. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, design review, and technical evaluation of District Cooling Plants (DCPs), Thermal Energy Storage (TES) systems, Energy Transfer Stations (ETS), and chilled water networks.
• Review District Cooling hydraulic modeling, plant sizing, load analysis, and energy optimization strategies.
• Ensure compliance with applicable international standards and authority requirements, and support the development of technical standards, guidelines, and operational strategies.
• Evaluate centralized and decentralized cooling solutions based on technical and commercial feasibility.
• Coordinate scope interfaces between DCPs, chilled water networks, ETS, power, and utility systems.
• Participate in District Cooling technical reviews, value engineering workshops, and stakeholder coordination meetings.
• Review master plans and District Cooling technical specifications.
• Review and approve concept, schematic, detailed design, and Issued For Construction (IFC) deliverables.
• Lead technical evaluations, District Cooling design optimization, and value engineering initiatives.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 12–15 years of experience specifically in district cooling.
• Demonstrated experience in large-scale mixed-use developments or city-scale infrastructure projects.
• Experience in technical Request For Proposals (RFPs), specifications, design reviews, and performance validation.
