About the Role

Qiddiya Investment Company is seeking a Senior Manager - Project Management (Risk) to enhance its risk management framework across various projects. This full-time position is based in Riyadh and requires a strategic approach to lead risk management initiatives throughout the project lifecycle. The role involves ensuring that potential risks are identified, assessed, and effectively mitigated through close collaboration with cross-functional teams and senior leadership.

Role Purpose

The Senior Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing robust risk management strategies to support Qiddiya's diverse projects. This includes cultivating a proactive risk management culture within the organization and ensuring compliance with established protocols. The role is central to maintaining project stability and achieving strategic objectives by effectively managing potential risks.

Key Responsibilities

Establish and enhance the risk management framework, processes, and methodologies tailored for Qiddiya's diverse projects.
Guide project teams in identifying, evaluating, and prioritizing risks, ensuring comprehensive risk assessments are conducted.
Create and maintain risk registers, ensuring all project risks are documented, monitored, and communicated effectively.
Develop and implement effective risk response strategies with clear action plans for risk mitigation.
Lead risk workshops and training sessions for project teams to promote awareness and understanding of risk management practices.
Monitor compliance with established risk management protocols and recommend adjustments as necessary to adapt to evolving project dynamics.
Collaborate with stakeholders to cultivate an organizational culture that embraces proactive risk management.
Perform regular reviews and updates of the risk management framework to ensure its relevance and effectiveness.

Experience and Qualifications

Candidates for this role should possess 8-10 years of relevant experience in project management with a strong focus on risk. A proven track record in establishing and managing risk frameworks within complex project environments is essential. The ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and senior leadership is also required.
