Job Summary: Senior Manager Registrar

The Senior Manager Registrar will oversee the entire registration function at Riyadh University of Arts in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves administering the academic calendar, timetable construction, enrollment controls, eligibility rules, and policy-compliant exceptions to ensure accurate student records and a seamless registration experience. The role requires 5-10 years of experience and involves coordination with various academic and administrative units to support student progression, graduation eligibility, assessments, examinations, grading, appeals, and timely reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to the development of the Admissions, Registrar & Student Affairs department’s business and operational plans.
• Participate in budgeting exercises and ensure effective utilization of the Registrar section’s budget.
• Lead the design and implementation of Registrar-related policies and procedures, ensuring compliance and continuous review for alignment with RUA's requirements.
• Manage the academic registration calendar, including registration windows, add/drop periods, and withdrawal deadlines.
• Coordinate enrollment cycles, timetable release support, section openings/closures, and waitlist administration.
• Verify enrollment eligibility, apply student-facing policies, and administer policy-compliant exceptions and overrides.
• Maintain progression records, including program changes, leaves, returns, transfer credit recording, and graduation eligibility checks.
• Coordinate administrative processes for assessments, examinations, grading, and academic appeals.
• Ensure the accuracy, confidentiality, and completeness of registration, progression, and graduation records.
• Coordinate KPI tracking and reporting for registration volumes, accuracy, service performance, and appeals cycle times.
• Perform root-cause analysis on recurring issues and recommend process improvements.

People and Project Management

• Participate in the identification and recruitment of key talent.
• Guide, mentor, and support direct reports, developing performance objectives and providing regular feedback.
• Foster a student-centric culture and establish a high-performance working environment.
• Lead and guide project management teams in planning and organizing functional or organizational projects.
• Manage and control projects to ensure completion within guidelines for cost, budget, timelines, scope, and quality.

Qualifications and Experience

• 5-10 years of relevant experience.
• Demonstrated ability to manage end-to-end registration functions within an academic setting.
• Experience in developing and implementing policies and procedures.
• Strong understanding of academic calendars, enrollment controls, and student record management.
