About SEVEN and the Role

SEVEN (Saudi Entertainment Ventures) is seeking a Senior Manager - Theming to join its team in Riyadh, Riyadh Province. This full-time role involves leading the conceptualization, design, and implementation of thematic elements for SEVEN's complexes and attractions. The primary objective is to ensure brand identity aligns with visual aesthetics, manage resources effectively, and maintain high-quality standards to enhance the guest journey and support SEVEN's brand vision.

Leadership and Operational Oversight

The Senior Manager - Theming will provide leadership across various functions, ensuring strategic alignment and operational excellence within the team and across projects. Key responsibilities include:

• Acting as SEVEN’s representative with local and international ventures to establish and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders.
• Complying with the approved budget and supervising team budget utilization across all related functions to ensure appropriate use of financial resources.
• Monitoring operational activities and leading the team’s day-to-day operations to ensure adherence to approved policies and procedures.
• Providing ongoing feedback and coaching to subordinates, and conducting annual appraisal evaluations in compliance with HR policies.

Thematic Concept Development and Design

This role is central to defining the aesthetic and narrative experience of SEVEN's projects through comprehensive thematic development and design. Responsibilities include:

• Translating brand identity into coherent thematic concepts to create immersive experiences.
• Developing detailed thematic concepts and plans, including visual narratives and storytelling elements, aligned with the overall brand vision.
• Selecting appropriate design elements such as color schemes, textures, and materials to ensure thematic consistency.
• Ensuring all visual components align with the overall theme to maintain a cohesive aesthetic.
• Creating sketches, storyboards, mood boards, and visual presentations to convey thematic narratives and design intent.
• Developing 3D models, renderings, and presentation materials to showcase design proposals.

Project Coordination and Quality Assurance

The Senior Manager will oversee the execution and quality of thematic installations, ensuring seamless integration and adherence to high standards and safety regulations. This involves:

• Collaborating with designers, contractors, and vendors to implement thematic elements across projects.
• Coordinating with other departments to integrate thematic elements throughout all areas of the project.
• Conducting regular inspections to ensure the quality and consistency of thematic installations.
• Addressing any issues or discrepancies promptly to maintain high standards.
• Ensuring that all thematic elements adhere to safety regulations and building codes.
• Overseeing the installation process to prevent hazards and ensure compliance.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for the Senior Manager - Theming position should possess the following qualifications and experience:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts is required.
• A Master’s degree in 3D Animations or Special Effects is preferable.
• Certificates in a technical field of construction (*, LEAD) are preferable.
• A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, preferably in a similar role, with at least 4 years in a management role.
• Relevant experience in real estate development and entertainment theme parks.
