Senior Mechanic

About the Role

Yamama Cement Company is seeking a Senior Mechanic to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time position involves performing essential mechanical maintenance work, including routine, preventive, and emergency tasks, to ensure the efficient operation of production units.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine, preventive, and emergency mechanical maintenance in accordance with approved policies and procedures.
• Monitor the performance of production units to ensure operation within designated limits and report any observations affecting equipment efficiency.
• Identify and assess the readiness of required maintenance tools and equipment, and carry out preventive maintenance to ensure their continuous availability.
• Organize and store maintenance tools in designated locations, maintain them properly, and ensure appropriate disposal of maintenance waste.
• Execute mechanical repair work, including welding, cutting, and refurbishing replaced parts, to ensure their readiness and efficiency.
• Comply with safety procedures before commencing work, including verifying necessary permits and lockout/tagout forms.
• Perform any other tasks assigned by the direct supervisor.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
