Role Overview

Jacobs is seeking a Senior MEP Engineer to join the team in Neom, Tabuk, or Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves providing technical leadership for the completion, commissioning, and handover of a major water infrastructure project. The position focuses on leading Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) completion activities as the project enters its close-out phase, ensuring systems are installed, tested, commissioned, documented, and handed over according to project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Lead MEP completion and close-out activities for water infrastructure assets and facilities.
Monitor contractor progress against completion schedules and handover milestones.
Coordinate the resolution of technical issues, defects, Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), Requests for Information (RFIs), and punch list items.
Oversee testing, commissioning, system integration, and performance verification activities.
Review commissioning documentation, test records, completion dossiers, and turnover packages.
Ensure all MEP installations comply with approved specifications, project requirements, and applicable industry standards.
Coordinate handover activities, including as-built documentation, asset registers, Operations & Maintenance (O&M) manuals, training records, and warranty documentation.
Act as the primary technical interface between contractors, consultants, operations teams, and client representatives during project close-out.
Support quality inspections, operational readiness reviews, and final acceptance processes.
Promote safety, technical excellence, and compliance with project procedures, regulatory requirements, and Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards.

Qualifications and Experience

A minimum of 10 years of experience in a relevant engineering field.
Demonstrated experience in MEP systems, particularly within water infrastructure projects.
Experience with construction completion, punch list closure, defect resolution, operational readiness, and handover activities.
