The Opportunity: Senior Planning Manager

Mace Group is seeking a Senior Planning Manager to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This part-time role involves working on one of Saudi Arabia's largest programs, a significant mixed-use development that includes sports facilities, entertainment, arts, and associated infrastructure. As a delivery partner, Mace requires experienced professionals to lead integrated teams throughout the project phases.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage project planning in accordance with contractual requirements, employer, and engineer objectives and procedures.
• Establish project milestones and review work activities to ensure alignment with these milestones.
• Coordinate, collect, verify, and integrate contract work scope from all entities into the overall project plan, reviewing scope representation in schedules.
• Identify schedule constraints and their impact on the total project schedule, collaborating with departments and chairing interdisciplinary workshops to resolve issues.
• Review and evaluate schedule durations for all discipline activities relative to project milestones.
• Perform forensic schedule analysis for disputes/claims and study problem areas to determine schedule activity criticality, recommending alternatives for schedule improvement.
• Define and present the Schedule Impact Report, leading the development and review of schedule recovery plans, including resource evaluation.
• Monitor and report on the critical path and overall schedule performance of the project.
• Issue reports as required by the employer and project procedures, ensuring consistency with previous reports.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Extensive experience in construction and project planning using Primavera Project Management software.
• Significant experience with large, complex projects during both design and construction phases.
• Ability to meet necessary visa criteria for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
• Relevant work experience on high-value projects/programs for a project management consultancy business, required for immigration and client approval.
