The Role: Senior Project Controls Manager

Mace Group is seeking a Senior Project Controls Manager to join its team in Riyadh. This role involves contributing to an ultra-luxury residential and hospitality project that includes significant civils and infrastructure scope. The project is delivered rapidly, with Mace acting as a hands-on Project Management Consultant and holding FIDIC Engineer responsibility. The successful candidate will lead PMO and project controls delivery across assigned commissions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead PMO and project controls delivery across assigned commissions.
• Provide expert guidance on cost, schedule, risk, and change management.
• Build strong client relationships and drive performance reporting.
• Align delivery with the Mace control centre, mentoring teams, and promoting sustainability.
• Work collaboratively towards the common goal of net zero carbon transition and share responsibility for the proactive identification and management of associated carbon emissions and reductions during work delivery.

Candidate Requirements

• Relevant degree or an equivalent qualification.
• Progressing toward chartership with a recognised professional body and commitment to ongoing professional development.
• Proven leadership in health, safety, and wellbeing, demonstrating measurable outcomes and embedding best practice.
• Strong knowledge and application of relevant legislation within complex organisational environments.
• Effective communication skills with analytical capability and the ability to engage, influence, and build trusted stakeholder relationships.
• Necessary visa criteria for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and 5-10 years of relevant work experience on high-valued projects/programmes for a project management consultancy business, which are required for immigration and client approval.
