Emdad By Elm is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (.NET) to join our team in Riyadh. This full-time position is for a professional with 2-5 years of experience who will contribute to the development and maintenance of scalable enterprise applications.

Role Overview

The Senior Software Engineer (.NET) will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable enterprise applications and backend services using Microsoft .NET technologies. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, high-performance solutions, translating business requirements into technical implementations, and contributing to the overall software architecture and development standards.

Core Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade web applications and backend services using C# and **** Core.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and system integrations with internal and external platforms.
• Design and optimize relational databases using SQL Server and PostgreSQL.
• Apply software engineering best practices, including Domain-Driven Design (DDD), clean architecture, and design patterns.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex application issues across different system layers.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and security.
• Manage source code using Git and participate in CI/CD workflows.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• 2-5 years of professional experience in software development, with a strong focus on Microsoft .NET technologies.
• Demonstrated ability to design, develop, and maintain complex enterprise applications.
• Solid understanding of software architecture principles and development standards.

Technical Proficiencies

Candidates must possess strong technical skills in the following areas:

• Proficiency in C# and **** Core for web and backend service development.
• Experience with RESTful API development and system integrations.
• Expertise in relational database design and optimization, specifically with SQL Server and PostgreSQL.

Collaboration and Professional Development

The role requires effective collaboration with Product Managers, Business Analysts, and QA teams to ensure successful delivery of business requirements. Furthermore, you will be expected to mentor junior engineers, support knowledge sharing within the development team, and participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and development processes.
