We are seeking a skilled and strategic professional to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, as a Senior Specialist Group Accounting. This is a full-time position where you will contribute to shaping the company's financial reporting framework and accounting policies.

Role Overview

The Senior Specialist Group Accounting will play a key role in overseeing the group accounting function. This involves leading the consolidation of financial statements across the group, ensuring strict compliance with international financial reporting standards (IFRS), and providing essential financial analyses to support strategic decision-making. The role is instrumental in enhancing the efficiency and accuracy of the financial reporting process within the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure financial integrity and regulatory compliance.
• Oversee the preparation of timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for senior management and stakeholders.
• Ensure effective coordination with external auditors and regulatory bodies during audits and compliance reviews.
• Provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to the executive leadership team.
• Monitor changes in accounting standards and regulations, assessing their impact and driving necessary changes within the organization.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the group accounting function to enhance reporting accuracy and efficiency.
• Mentor and develop accounting professionals within the group, fostering a high-performance culture.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Advanced degrees or professional certifications such as CPA or ACCA are highly preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in group accounting, with significant leadership experience in a similar role.
• Comprehensive knowledge of IFRS, financial consolidation, and regulatory compliance requirements.
