About the Opportunity

UCC Holding is seeking an experienced Senior Structural Engineer to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is for a professional with a strong background in structural engineering, site execution, and coordination, particularly on major high-rise and luxury hospitality projects.

Role Summary

The Senior Structural Engineer will lead and supervise structural engineering activities, ensuring compliance with approved designs, specifications, and quality standards. The role involves comprehensive coordination with various project disciplines and stakeholders, along with providing practical engineering solutions for complex structural challenges.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise structural engineering activities for high-rise and hospitality projects.
• Review structural drawings, specifications, calculations, and technical submissions.
• Coordinate structural works with architectural, MEP, and other disciplines.
• Monitor site execution to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Resolve structural technical issues and provide practical engineering solutions.
• Review shop drawings, method statements, RFIs, and material submittals.
• Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and project management teams.
• Monitor progress and ensure structural works are delivered according to project schedules.
• Support inspections, testing, and quality control activities.
• Ensure compliance with applicable international standards, codes, and project requirements.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• 10+ years of structural engineering experience, preferably on major building projects.
• Previous experience with a Tier 1 main contractor is mandatory.
• Strong experience in high-rise buildings and luxury hospitality projects is mandatory.
• Experience in large-scale, complex construction projects within the GCC is preferred.

Required Skills and Knowledge

• Strong knowledge of reinforced concrete and structural steel construction.
• Good understanding of structural drawings, construction methods, and technical specifications.
• Strong coordination and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced construction environment.
