Solar Project Engineer

About the Role

Tarshid - National Energy Services Company is seeking a Solar Project Engineer to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time role involves providing day-to-day technical support and ensuring technical and quality compliance for solar projects, working closely with the Technical Program Manager.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the contract in completing planned project activities.
• Monitor project progress to ensure all activities are completed within the required timeline.
• Ensure the Contractor obtains all necessary approvals for project documentation.
• Manage all internal and external project interfaces.
• Update and review project progress on a weekly basis, highlighting areas of concern that require intervention.
• Prepare and issue weekly progress reports for projects.
• Prepare periodic slides for executive management presentations.

Project Management Support

• Support the Project Manager in project execution, field visits, and technical project reviews.
• Compile inputs for the preparation of project planning reports.

Retrofit Implementation Support

• Assist in supervising ESCOs responsible for the design, installation, and commissioning of projects.
• Support the Project Manager in managing relationships with government entities.

Post-Retrofit Support

• Support the supervision of O&M services provided.
• Assist the Project Manager in ensuring that performance guarantees are satisfied.
• Liaise with Finance and Legal departments to resolve any issues.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, where the Solar Project Engineer will collaborate closely with the Technical Program Manager and other project stakeholders.
