About the Role at Qiddiya

Qiddiya | القدية is seeking a Specialist Destination Partnerships to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is central to supporting the Senior Manager in the daily execution of Qiddiya DMO's partnership acquisition, onboarding, activation, and account management activities. It is an execution-focused position responsible for managing a portfolio of Tier 2 and Tier 3 partners, coordinating FAM trips and trade events, and maintaining the partnerships CRM.

Partnership Pipeline and CRM Management

The Specialist will play a critical role in maintaining the integrity of partnership data and driving new partner acquisition. Key responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining the partnerships CRM (Salesforce or equivalent) as the single source of truth, ensuring all partner records, deal stages, activity logs, and revenue projections are accurate and current.
  • Conducting prospect research to identify new partnership targets across travel agencies, tour operators, DMCs, and corporate travel buyers for priority source markets.
  • Preparing partnership pitch decks, capability presentations, and business case documents for senior management.
  • Tracking and managing the partnership pipeline through all deal stages, from prospect to onboarding.
  • Managing the preparation and coordination of partnership agreements, MOUs, and contract documentation in collaboration with the Legal team.

Partner Onboarding and Account Management

This role involves leading the onboarding process for new partners and actively managing existing relationships to ensure performance and engagement. Responsibilities include:

  • Leading the end-to-end onboarding process for newly signed partners, including account setup, Trade Portal access provisioning, product briefings, and introductory training.
  • Developing and maintaining the Qiddiya Partnership Welcome Pack and onboarding toolkit.
  • Coordinating and conducting partner product training sessions (virtual and in-person) to ensure agents are equipped to sell Qiddiya.
  • Monitoring partner activation metrics, tracking time-to-first-booking, booking frequency, and early-stage revenue contribution.
  • Managing an active portfolio of Tier 2 and Tier 3 partnership accounts through regular check-ins, performance reviews, and co-marketing coordination.
  • Tracking partner booking performance against contracted targets and identifying underperforming accounts for support or re-engagement.

Event Coordination and Operational Support

The Specialist will coordinate key industry events and provide essential administrative and reporting support. This includes:

  • Planning and executing Qiddiya's FAM trip calendar, handling agent selection, itinerary design, logistics, and post-FAM follow-up.
  • Coordinating Qiddiya's presence and participation at domestic and international travel trade events, including booth setup and meeting scheduling.
  • Producing weekly partnership pipeline and performance reports for the Senior Manager.
  • Creating and updating partner-facing content such as rate sheets, product guides, and destination factsheets.
  • Supporting the development of the Qiddiya Specialist Certification Programme.

Candidate Profile and Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in commercial partnerships and a proven ability to manage complex relationships and projects. Required qualifications include:

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in commercial partnerships, travel trade sales support, or tourism account management.
  • Hands-on experience managing CRM platforms for pipeline and account tracking (Salesforce preferred).
  • Experience coordinating FAM trips, trade events, or destination roadshows.
  • Background in preparing commercial presentations, partner reports, and sales collateral.
  • Knowledge of the GCC / Saudi Arabia tourism market and travel trade landscape is preferred.
