About the Role

Avient is seeking a Specialist Sourcing to join their team in Riyadh, located in Riyad Ar Rimah, Al Qasim. This full-time position is designed for individuals with 0-1 years of experience. The Sourcing Specialist will contribute to projects and analyses aimed at enhancing process improvement within the sourcing organization.

Role Overview

This role involves supporting category managers and functional directors in executing category-level strategies. Key responsibilities include resolving supplier transaction issues and measuring overall supplier performance. The Specialist Sourcing may also manage one or more categories with an estimated annual spend ranging from $0-20M.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide analytical and process improvement support to the corporate sourcing group, including data analysis, internal reporting, and process improvement recommendations.
• Communicate with suppliers and internal customers regarding order status and facilitate issue resolution.
• Collaborate with Accounts Payable and suppliers to troubleshoot and resolve vendor invoice issues within P2P systems.
• Assist Sourcing Managers with the management, testing, reporting, and updating of all sourcing systems, including SAP, Ariba, and other platforms.
• Offer coaching and guidance on purchasing processes to other Avient locations.
• Lead and participate in lean six sigma initiatives as assigned, with the opportunity to obtain LSS Green Belt certification.
• Support other sourcing-related projects and tasks as required.

• Proficiency in using sourcing systems such as SAP and Ariba.

Physical and Environmental Demands

• Ability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods (up to 60% of the workday).
• Capability to traverse to and from required meetings.
• Proficiency in inputting data into a computer.
• Work is typically performed in an office environment with low to moderate noise levels.
