About the Role

AWS EMEA SARL (Saudi Arabia Branch) is seeking a Sr. Cloud Application Architect to join its Professional Services (ProServe) team in Riyadh. This full-time role involves working directly with customers to design, implement, and manage AWS solutions that align with their technical requirements and business objectives. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting customer success throughout their cloud adoption journey.

The AWS Professional Services Team

The AWS Professional Services organization is a global team dedicated to helping customers achieve their desired business outcomes using the AWS Cloud. The team collaborates with customer teams and the AWS Partner Network (APN) to execute enterprise cloud computing initiatives. Assistance is provided through various offerings that support enterprise cloud adoption and focused guidance from global specialty practices covering diverse solutions, technologies, and industries.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement complex, scalable, and secure AWS solutions tailored to customer needs.
• Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting support throughout project delivery.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and propose effective migration strategies to AWS.
• Act as a trusted advisor to customers on industry trends and emerging technologies.
• Share knowledge within the organization through mentoring, training, and creating reusable artifacts.

Required Experience and Skills

Candidates for this role should possess a deep understanding of AWS products and services, with proficiency in architecting complex, scalable, and secure solutions. The position requires 10+ years of relevant experience.
